Construction Activities 10/17-11/15

NOTICES:
- Welch Road between the MSOB parking area and Campus drive will be closed from November 10th through mid-January. The route has received significant signage detailing the detour plan. Only the U-line bus will be allowed through this area between the hours of 3PM-6PM. The area is closed to through traffic at all times.
-the sidewalk east of MSOB will be closed between November 12-14th to connect the new construction trailers. The trailers will be located immediately adjacent to the MSOB building.

Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge
-pour columns on the exterior of the building
-install waterproofing on the deck between Beckman and LKSC
-finish fireproofing the firest and second floors
-finish the roofing directly over the occupied spaces
-install the priority walls on the 1st floor
-continue installation of stairs #1 and 2
-install the fire sprinklers in the basement
-continue HVAC/mechanical piping 'rough-in' in the basement
-continue electrical 'rough-in' on the 1st floor
-begin electrical 'rough-in' on the 2nd floor

SIM-1
-all basement exterior shotcrete walls are now complete
-finish pouring all foundation support along all column lines
-form and pour the first basement floor slab near the northwest corner of the basement

Central Loading/Receiving Dock
-complete painting touch-up
-finalize all last work on the plans, prepare for final inspection
-install signage
-test mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, and elevator systems, prepare for handover to the School of Medicine

RAF Ramp Relocation
-finalize all last work on the plans, prepare for final inspection
